The gits managed to stand [and stay still, though that's not too hard for them] for an estimated two hours, which is pretty impressive - particularly since the superghetto set-up was threatening to fall onto them and I think I ran them through 5 points of exposure, 6 white balance settings and three cont/sharp/sat settings [I guess that's why it took two hours, ahahaha].

Anyway, Yanagi's head is appley and edible-like.

Obviously I can never leave a good thing alone [wait for full effect].

Many of the conversations that my braindead self and several others had often culminated in this question. This particular conversation sums it up quite completely: a concerned "So what time did you sleep last night?", an extremely sheepish bleary-eyed smile, and "Oh, I see; not at all. Gotcha."
Again, I'm really terribly sorry if I said anything bizarre or confusing to you. My sleep hiatus can basically be summarised in a resort holiday description: 3D2N.

I guess it really could have been worse. It went much better than it could've, considering that we managed out four technically five-piece OOAK outfits in completion for the event – so it makes sense that we would be totally late and uh only finish totally setting up at around 3 or so, about 1½ hours after event starting time. There's nothing much I can really say about this other than: oops, classic Tangled…

So this year, as displayed on the TDA site, was going to be revolving around the Crane Wife legend as butchered by Colin Meloy [I love the man I'm serious]. This only came about on the second-last day before registration as our collab partner unsuccessfully tried to wager herself out of her good friend's wedding [by the way don't identify yourself here, talk to me laytah and I hope that wedding went well]. [info]silencestation and I were standing in the MRT and debating. Bathoom, Crane Wife was born.

Our set-up, the graphic poorly pieced together because I was evidently too stupid to actually just step a few steps away and you know, zoom out. But anyway, you get the gist. Crane Wife display mournfully labouring away. Outside, kids play – with the exception of Sana shoveling snow. You're a good man, Charlie Brown.

Crane Wiiiife. )

And the OOAK outfits for sale. All of the faux-kimono sets had:
1. Inner Gown/Dress
2. Kimono Coat
3. Obi [/+ obijime and obiage for girls]
4. Neck-tie
5. Headpiece

Faux-Kimono Sets )

And where's Sei again? Oh right:

Sei can be quite funny. )

My only complaint was the terrifyingly late booth map and information for the vendors. I was seriously worried there that I didn't get it or something, and with the light-intensive setup it was a big worry. Thank you for accommodating our request! Hopefully next year the information will come out earlier and that'll be fine. :D

We've got people to thank of course:

Because I'm longwinded. )
and personally, to [info]silencestation, thanks for everything of course. I'm glad I could do the headbands to your satisfaction.

All in all, zomg one week to school. Damn.

The very first update in the monster in which you know as Tangled Web was this :

"23rd December 2003 5.33am
The site is finally finished. X_x Not as contentfull as we would like, but it'll have to do for now..."

This means that Tangled Web is now approximately 3 years old. Approximating everything because I'm far too lazy :

1. Kinjyou Seishurou and Suiya Tsukisou are 3 years old. [Old men!] These two arrived during our Europe vacation, and the first pictures we saw of them were in a Virgin Record Store's web access area. Sei's first pictures made me cry. [Not of joy.] But when we opened their boxes, I couldn't recognise him.

2. Ruka is also 3 years old, chronologically arrived before the two old men. He was the first Sweet Dreams Lucas we saw when the limiteds arrived in Domuya and we helped to unpack, and he ended up ours despite the fact that we asked to see both of them to pick.

3. Sanada Mikado and Yanagi Mikoto are 2 years old. [Oh my god!!] Also ordered together at the same time, Sato babies, the F08 had just been released without any official pictures except for small, blurry web-camisque ones. We were also told, a little earlier that there would "Never be MSD FCS!" HAHAHAHAHAHA.

4. Lin Si Ye is 2 years old. We got him despite being late from a typhoon from Dolpa 13 by a Volks miracle.

5. Small Yanagi Ren is nearly 2 years old, the first UFK of AngelRegion. We were worried they'd never have it again. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

6. Chaitanya is 1 year old, Djinn's 21st birthday present greatly assisted by Cassiel [thank you!] and loads of lovely people who donated to the cause - our first sunlight and our first SD boy.

7. Teaberry/Wintergreen is 8 months old and was the first doll off YJA [thanks to Evildolly] we have. Djinn was pining and pining and moaning and pining and I told her, if there is a Kasumi with the 02 Wings that you want, we'll get her and lose all our money. GUESS WHAT?

8. Big Rennes Yanagi['s head - the girl you guys asked about here] is 2 months old, off a Tsukasa Konoe with a Link SD13 body and a SDKen box. A BIN matter off YJA with help from Evildolly once again. Finally, our little Ren grows up. I've been waiting for this.

The total count right now is 10 dolls, of soon which to be 9 dolls, and of soon which to be 10 dolls again. Perhaps in an interval it will be 11 dolls. And the most creepy thing, is that about half of our doll list is fulfilled. But I'm sure we can drag it out till we're 50, since the rest are a lot harder and BOY do we have a lot of stories to catch up on. Also, most of the rest are FCS, so NO MORE UNPLEASANT SURPRISES. [Like the next one.]

In any case, re: the 'not as contentfull' - HAHAHAHAHAHA STFU DJINN AND I, STFU. The current count stands at :

1. 78 photostories [not including roleplay/gathering/cosplay/travelogue photostories] up, 11 mini events.
2. 35 travelogue photostories
3. 2 'movies'
4. 59 photoshoots, 14 songshoots
5. 5 cosplays - Guilty Gear X, Prince of Tennis, Loveless, Alichino, xxxholic

36580 hits as of today, a generous estimate taking off my own visits.

What's this all about? This is me having put off doing this stat count for a couple of years, and to say that officially, yes, we will be renewing Tangled Web. To be - WHITE. and CLEAN. And NOT JAVA-SCRIPT LOGGED. and SEMI-UPDATED. Also, to acknowledge all the dolls we have, how long they've been with us [we never do the birthday thing, we always forget XD;] and that we have too many dolls to do this individually anyway. WE'RE SCREWED because we have too much stuff to do and plus the internet on the computer with all the Tangled stuff is down, so we can't even do our last update on the old layout. Gah. [HOMEWORK WHAT HOMEWORK FUCKING HISTORY ESSAY THAT THE TEACHER SAYS YOU READ THE QUESTION WRONG SUCKERS NYAH WHAT FUCKING HISTORY ESSAY.]

Also, thanks for actually caring about our dolls, what we do with them for all these years, and if it hasn't been all these years, however long you've been with us. It is constantly and adoringly appreciated, and if you haven’t already, do make yourself known to us sometime so we can thank you properly. XD

In any case, happy 3rd belated birthday, Tangled Web. And Merry Christmas and all other holidays to everyone, I hope you have lots of fun despite the fact that a lot of you seem to be a bit down this holiday season. Despite what it could’ve been, it seems this Christmas may not be so bad for us this year.

Everything is calm today.
Djinn and I are evading work and Azri is back in the house, sleeping on the homework and smelling a bit like flea powder.

On the other hand, a quiz! The one everyone has been posting! It's not just the indepth analysis and the pretty results it comes with, but really more of the fantastically cute and adorable layout that the quiz has! It's seriously nice. And so're the humour books they recc. It's the only quiz where its marketing has worked on me. [But obviously not enough, because I'm not buying them!]

Gawd, I hate this, I woke up at what I call an unearthy time of the morning and I couldn't get back to sleep. Now it's 2pm. SAD! I'm SAD!

Things are getting hard to juggle. Working fulltime on the costumes, but I have a pesky little/BIG History group essay first draft to handle before the con and leaving on the day right after that. I'm interestingly making semi-decent progress - it would be a mind-blowing experience to have everything done the night before the con, and get some amount of sleep without stressing out till morning. Wow! That fucking blows my mind.

Since we're going to China, I have to get some clothes done too. The con is on the 16th, we leave for Teochew and Fu Jian on the 17th at 5 inna morning, and I'd like to be packed and have some sleep too. Si Ye needs some male ethnic clothing, a new shirt to match the Volks cardigan. Sana needs not-his-ethnic clothing, an emo hoodie. Tea needs ethnic clothing.

What's left for the xxxholic stuff?
1. Finishing touches to Spider Lady + Doumeki
2. Yuuko [getting Glory over for her Lishe bodeh]
3. Zashiki Warashi
4. Maru + Moro summer outfits

Hmm. That really could be far worse! It's not that bad. Godspeed!

Oh, also - the poll results are that I should cosplay Suzumiya Haruhi, 4 votes to 3 for Nagato Yuki. I shall take this into serious consideration! Djinn says if she went by my personality she'd pick Suzumiya Haruhi too.

::fwooshes around from nausea:: oddly today I feel a terrible urge to hurl. This isn't good, because tomorrow I'll have to run 2.4 km, take a math test and confront my english oral and my examiner, Mr Adrian Chan. I bet it was my dad's cooking - of all the kinds of prawns to buy to dump in a lot of ginger and fry, does it have to be fertilized prawns?

I suspect I sound dour in the beginning of every LJ post because I'm constantly listening to alt/emo music. XD;;; which is where I get all my totally awesome entry titles from.

After being inspired by [info]embryophyte's post on Star Wars M&Ms, Djinn and I went out to Find the Force, or Eat It. I'm on the Jedi's side - I don't eat dark chocolate. Djinn reasons that means I must be on the Dark side, because I keep devouring the Wookies and the Jedis. I started to feel a little happier because it makes more sense for me to be on the Dark Side, and Djinn to be on the good side - she eats the dark chocolate M&Ms.

On the other hand, tangled has been updated and probably won't be updated for the next month or so, because Djinn is going to have her exams, and after her exams, it's my exams.

Dollygirl is one of the new photoshoots for today's update. Djinn and I meant to post the mini-Pullip with full explaination a while back, but then we both were too lazy, so so much for that. I'll post it when I do.

Annnd constipated little git of the day. XD This is how he used to dress at home back in Japan, his mother is Caucasian. A picture from the photoshoot Princeling.

Last image, I promise. From the second Japan photostory we just uploaded.

Djinn should be setting up Renren's Pinky Street site after her exams - it's called Avenue P. [Just one off from Q!] All the Pinkies in this picture is involved in elaborate, yuri relationships. Except for Rei Ayanami.

Also, Djinn and I have finally jumped off the deep end. First, Static Shock. Djinn just had to get back to reading comics - as in, $5 a thin booklet monthly-type comics, DC type comics. She started out all Marvelly, and feels kinda bad obsessing over Static Shock and now the ex-Young Justice and the new Teen Titans, but then I remind her "Marvel totally screwed us over dude, like Scott with Emma Frost? What's up with that?" and then she feels all justified and then buys all the Teen Titans off the shelf.

$5 a month may not sound very dangerous, but it is when you suddenly get into it after it's been going on for a year or so. You accumulate all those, and then realise that Young Justice is before that and it went on for about a year or so, and then you accumulate all that and then I realise that I suddenly need to clear out another closet shelf for all the comics that just hopped out of the "Absolute Comics" bag.

How getting back into comics sucks. )

How I still love Robins. )

How I show my love for Robins. )

On the other hand, I found my perfect Richie sweater and I'm going to edit it as soon as I can - probably after my midyears. Djinn and I have somewhat been active in the_gas_station, which is a Static Shock community. We're already chalked down as "the dude who does nice art" [Djinn!] and "the dude who does animated icons" [Me!]. I've done about six icons and Djinn's done two fanarts, both coloured by me because I love doing it and Djinn would never finish it otherwise. XD I think we both haven't posted it on our personal journals because no one would be interested and everyone is probably pretty sick of us all over Static Shock already. XD;

Also, if anyone would actually like, do commission me for art done with Copics. XDD I enjoy doing them, and I'm quite quick with them, and I'm in need of money for the Unoa girls. ::looks at [info]shinigamid:: don't forget! Please don't ask about commissioning any SD clothes or kimonos around now, because there're a lot [in my opinion ^^;;] of commissions I have on my hands right now that I can't do because sewing takes more time and effort. Thanks a lot if you even thought about it though! And thanks for all the people who commissioned me so far, and assured me you don't mind waiting. ♥

If you're wondering about my icon, it's made out of a lovely picture taken by [info]bluestraggler which had me, Bern [my Tezuka], Akiko [my Kikumaru] and Nic [my Sanada] in it. I really liked it so I made an icon out of it, buchou's hand kept getting in the way and so I included pretty Bern inside. XD Thanks for the photo Nat, I hope you don't mind me using it for an icon.

A last doll request before I go - anyone have any pictures of a Souldoll next to a SD? When I say SD, I mean SD sized, but if otherwise, it's okay too. I'd like to see how the sizes match and especially the skin colour. Thanks a lot.

I'm back again, right before Chinese New Year. Whooo.

I have four more days of paid accountness, and it is ending - and that makes me sad. Thank you, person who gave me a paid account, I had a hell lot of fun.

If you're interested in which icons I will be eliminating - I know for sure the Ryouma ones are going. Onwards to new semes, and better anime, I'm tired of Prince of Tennis and most of the English community. Although Yanagi is still my baby. And I still love everyone I love yada yada.

Anime
Djinn and I have of course succumbed to the Digital Cable's Animax, and we've been enjoying and hating it in the ratio of 1:1. The only series we're bothering to really watch right now is Cyborg 009 - and we like it a lot. It's really a pity we caught it in its last arc. =___= I seriously hope it replays again. Cyborg 009 is a nice team anime with consistant art [though debatable character designs] and the only problem with it are the main characters, 009 [Joe] and 003 [Can't remember how to spell her name, and I don't care]. We try to overlook that in team episodes. XD;

It's also actually a very tragic series, I think because old mangaka are ruthless in slaughtering people. Let's have a look in Sailormoon - nearly in every book someone burns or melts or rots away. The original ending was very very tragic, but I liked it, and I'm regretful the manga fans pressurised the original mangaka into making the ending happy instead. Currently Djinn and I are watching the 2000 anime remake and we're not too sure if the ending is happy or bad or will be shown at all.

Djinn and I have lost interest in downloading anime, and most of the current series, because a) it gets really tedious, b) we'd somehow rather download Star Trek, c) some of them are sucking like oh, say, Prince of Tennis, d) the anime doesn't live up to the manga as well.

So other than that, we set out to get Alien 9 and Cyborg 009 bootlegs but the shop didn't have any [I'm not telling you where it is, nyar nyar] of them. [Alien 9 is really good, by the way, and sweetly yuri and very sad - I think Damien Kellis-san you would like it.] So in a fit of pedo perversity, we got the second season of Meitantei [I keep saying Matantei, damn you Ragnarok Loki] Conan and spent the rest of the night of that day searching for the bits where he meets his 'rival' Hatori and we giggle about how wonderfully shota it really is. Conan/Kuro is terribly ukeuke in any form and that made me very happy.

I always liked detective series, but I suspect Kindaichi was too ugly for me to follow up on [although I do like Akechi very much]. I only liked one of the live-action Kindaichis, which had the Kinki Kids' dude as Kindaichi because it fit so perfectly - he's ugly, he's crass and exactly like Kindaichi. Also, he had a cute bespectacled sidekick [live-action original] called Makoto who keeps getting hurt and impaled all over the place. When the Arashi dude took over as Kindaichi, it was not at all convincing anymore.

So we've fallen back on old-time anime. Conan and Cyborg 009. Oh dear.

Music
Digital cable also added the fantastic Soundtrack Channel to our list of cable programs, and Djinn and I love it because very little movies have senseless rapping and so on. Instead, they tend to have alternative rock songs, which makes us very happy.

Two days back Djinn and I heard a very very indie alt rock cover of Against All Odds and it make us aww-ish. It was done by a band called The Postal Service, and later Djinn found out that the singer of The Postal Service is the singer of Deathcab for Cutie. Yay! No wonder he sounded so nicely familiar. The Postal Service was a collab between him and another musician from another indie band.

I will be putting it into the depressing playlist I'm burning for Karen. It is a must.

Cosplay
Accordingly, I really wanted to cosplay Cyborg 009, actually, 004 [Albert] from Cyborg 009, the one featured on my icon. I've even perfected how to roll my eyes up so that when people ask for photos, I can swivel them up with relative ease and show nothing but eyewhite. But Djinn was right – I'm too short and too young-looking to cosplay 004. Thus 004 will be filed away as one I would cosplay – if I were ever taller and older-looking. That might take a while though. Or never at all.

I think I've figured out who I'm gearing for next year's events. As for this year, a confirmed update:

Cosfest [Midyear] – Chitose of Fatal Frame II
End-Year Event – Tsugiri of Alichino

And as for our boys, as some might be interested:
Alichino
Ryouko – Seishurou
Myoubi – Yanagi
Tsugiri – Sanada
Black Matsulika – Tsukisou
Enju – Ruka
Hyula – Si Ye

I've gotten materials for Ruka – it's…er…pretty bleah to me. XDD;;;; It's such a pity the cloth looks exactly like the screentone she used in the manga. I need to start early.

Next year for me, my tentative plan is Agito from Air Gear for midyear and Seika/Hyomu from Teikokusen Senki for year-end.

Art
It's been a while, and I have to admit I'm not strong on the art front right now. I did manage to do a few pieces though – today, specifically my first and only Deathnote fanart.

Click on the tiny tiny image to see it fullview on DevArt~~

I really liked this one, actually. It worked out and it looked like Raito and L. OMG! XDDD Also, it's to "It's Good to be In Love" by Frou Frou – because 'cucumber eyes', 'all of my clothes feel like somebody's old throwadays', 'I'm black and blue all over' reminds Djinn and I too much of L. XD

Other than that, today was the Chinese New Year celebrations and according to tradition, after writing the 'chun lian' [um, spring couplets I think] I started to draw with the calligraphy brush.

And Yanagi is the result. )

I recently also completed the character sketches of Kenichi and Naoki from my original series G.A.T.E.S but I'm slowly CGing in the basic colours of their outfits so I can utilise it in the future.

Superdollfies
A while back after my dad had a bit of a fiasco with his girlfriend, he got guilty after seeing possibly SD-sized bicycles and was very willing to get them for us. Of course, we didn't resist and we packed up Si Ye and Sanada to go try out the scale.

At once when we saw the bikes, we knew they were MSD sized. There were two –

They call them the male bike, and the female bike. )

We were estatic – it fit the MSDs perfectly and this was wonderful because Sanada and Yanagi attend school [transfer students] and it's so cute if they bike there. ::squee::

These remind me of 60s Asian drama serials with guys in singlets/white shirts riding the bike along while the girl clings to them… )

I love the bikes. XD They're real, working miniatures, the gears, pedal and chain all turn when you move them.

I've also been spending one day a week sewing – Saturday night really. I've been getting something done which is good.

Also, here's the tangled web colourbar. I'm going to put it on my LJ userinfo, I suppose – and for you crazy but very nice people who might actually want the colourbar, here it is with the code –

tangled is love

Remove the spaces between the html brackets and the content in it, don’t worry about leeching bandwidth, gamers and HongKong people already do. Also, I might change the photos or add more sections so it'd be much more convenient :

< center >< a href="http://tangled.silentragedy.net" >< img src="http://tangled.silentragedy.net/tangledcolourbar.jpg" border="0" >< br >tangled is love< /a >< /center >

The bar links back to tangled, not to this entry nor am I going to put up a page in tangled for this. It's seriously ridiculous XDDD I just wanted one for myself. But if you seriously, really put it anywhere – please comment here so I'll know!

End
You see, this is what happens when I don't update for a long time. XD;

On a minor note – hmm. Somehow my SEMEautomatic [idea by Fraser for me – thank you!] icon looks somehow very perverse. XDD ::♥ Cyborg 009's 42::

Wore my night away sewing little ittybitty pieces of blue and white fabric together. I haven't done the collar yet, and might have to redo a sleeve, but I'm going to sleep NOW. ::bleary::

The only Ryoma shorter than me.

It's that time of year again, whereupon Djinn gets snappy at me and we all panick and go into crisis - the time before the end-of-year convention. At least this year I've started early - the Monday before the convention on Sunday IS considered early, most of the time it's a day night before the convetion that we're both killing ourselves over their costumes.

It's been a year and a few days since we first did this for the boys, back then - Seishurou and Tsukisou. My first outfit for them was their pyjamas. The second was their Zato and Testament costumes. Those were nightmare, because I somehow got food poisoning and spent the entire night either feeling nauseous/giddy while doing things, or throwing up in the toilet. My plans to cosplay Kamio were axed off because I couldn't stop being sick and Djinn gave up on spraying my hair a Kamio colour. I spent the con at the Domuya booth - sick, miserable, and tired - except for the times people were being curious about the Superdollfies, and appreciating the boys' GGXX cosplay. The week after that, I rushed out their Christmas costumes.

It's been a year and a few days, and I feel like I've been doing this forever.

As for what they're cosplaying this year - well, I guess it's obvious that Sanada is cosplaying Ryouma [haha, yes Tashigi, yes Mainey, I can see you guys snickering now]. Si Ye is cosplaying Tezuka, Sei and Tsuki as Atobe and Oshitari respectively, Yanagi tentatively as young Yanagi (Renji), and Ruka as Yanagi (Renji).

Next year is going to be killer, because right after my Olevels end, I shall be sitting in front of the machine sewing my heart out. Since I'm cosplaying Alichino...so are the boys. Should be Sanada as Tsugiri, Yanagi as Myoubi, Tsuki as the original Matsulika, Sei as Ryouko, Ruka as Enju, and Si Ye as that very Japanesey hot dude that I can never remember the name of.

It's really a pity I hate sewing. I wish I didn't, honestly, but I do. I need the finished product, and I like seeing the finished product. It's kind of feel-good to be able to tell people "Yes, we did this ourselves", but boy, is it painful.

I really should go to sleep now.

On a side note - all of you who came for the PoT meeting, thank you very much, you guys were great. Can you do me a favour though, all of you in my group, to find a Mizuki. Very very very important. Please, please find a Mizuki - she/he will have to wear the school uniform.

off to bed after i clear up all the stuff. whooo.

by the way, the icon I'm using is made from a doujin called 'Chase Chase Chase' by Yuna Takanagi of Retro-nome, who does RyoTezu doujin. It features a 180cm and above Ryoma. xD

::jumps:: tangled updated! With the new boys! ::mad dance::

They're so lovely and small - *___* so light, and so easy to carry...I guess this is the high-light of getting MSDs later, because they are so small and cute compared to the big boys. XDDD

Volks did a wonderful job on their faceups, Sanada is as awkward and stoic as he should be, and Yanagi's faceup is incredible. ::grin:: the specific shape of the red blush at the corners of his eyes are wonderful.

Sanada doesn't look like other F08s I'v eseen - of course I'm biased XD - for one, I've never seen one of normal skintone, and one not-smiling. Sanada has been painted specifically not to smile, and I love it. XDD He needs smaller, 14mm green glass eyes, anyone have any for sale? XD;;

Yanagi's eyes don't really seem to fit very well either, but it's much better than Sanada's because of the larger eye-wells. We wanted him to have eyes nearly filling up the entire eyewell anyway, so it's alright, but not for Sanada.

For more of the details on their faceups, go to Djinn's LJ, since she was the one who plotted it out anyway. XDD

The only reason why we have them so early, actually, is because Domuya had that 5% FCS discount for locals, so taking the opportunity, we decided to order them with Shan - and to keep anyone from knowing for a) a complete surprise, b) so that Djinn can change their faceups if needed. I think from Djinn's post and the pictures you see we didn't have to - ::laugh:: Great Volks.

We heard that they were coming on the Saturday [I think] night that they would be arriving in the next week. So I took the opportunity to tell Mainey. XDD and keep my mouth shut about the new boys, of course. On Wednesday and Thursday night, I rushed out two MSD yukatas - I didn't have any other material other than pink plisse XD;;; and goldfish plisse. Of course Sanada was going to scream if he got the pink - so...er...Yanagi got it. XD;

Djinn and I have been researching on sewing yukata and kimono for a while, and through many references to GothLoli and other book, I realised how to sew them, and how it worked just in the nick of time. The first yukata I ever sewed was Yanagi's, being verrrry frank, it is a girl-style yukata, which has open vents at the side of the sleeve inside, and longer length to fold up and tuck under the obi. Sanada's was of course the male-style one, without open vents. I worked from online MSD measurements and Shiina's measurements [thanks Shan! XD] and I was worried for a while about the fit, but I decided not to. XD; taking in consideration that Sanada's yukata was men's style without the excess cloth to fold up - I took a gamble on how long it should be, and on the length of the yukata collar, and it worked out great. ::relief:: I'm actually very proud of their yukatas.

I actually want to make Yanagi a Hinoto from X costume, and sell it - the challenge of the thousands of kimono layers XD;;; and the wig should be intersting, and he certainly fits the part. XD

We started research on kimono and how it worked because of these two little troublemakers. XDDD Because of our little miko-boy Yana-chan and our obligation in our mind to get the traditional wear right, we went through lots of pains figuring things out. Sanada, although half Caucasian, likes the Japanese culture [and Yanagi XDD] a lot, and so having his own yukata makes him really happy. ::laugh::

- back to what happened on Saturday, on that day we arrived early - say, 1pm or so, and asked to see them. We opened the respective boxes at the same time [the geeks we are, we did the same thing when Seishurou and Tsukisou came XD] and uh... XDDD Their bodies were upside down. XDDDDD So we, anticlimaxically turned it the right side up and gasped a lot. XDD Then squee-ed. XDDD You can imagine. Sanada was perfect, I couldn't really visualise him but when I saw him, I knew it was Sanada. Yanagi, with his streaks of red, and his sakura blossom lips ::giggles:: looked a little too sad in my opinion. So Djinn [being as paranoid as she is] pulled out the pastels she brought and worked her magic, just a little bit, and there was the final version of Yanagi.

We then dressed them, squee-ed more, called Mainey to ask what time she was coming, found out Tashigi was coming, and packed them up, 'Djinn-san' and 'Mae-san' labels blocked by the cow bag and 'Superdollfie' in gold blocked by a folded piece of paper. XDDD

When Tashi and Jasmine-san came in and asked where was Kazumi - Tashi's gaze swung to the white boxes, but I quickly pointed into the storage room. XDDDD;;; We spent the rest of the time poking and oohing over her Suzume, and watching TashiTashi agonize about the lack of battery in her camera. XD;;;

Djinn and I wandered off to get a bit of food from 7-11 - hadn't eaten lunch, and JUST at that time, I'm-Stuck-In-A-Traffic-Jam-Will-Be-Stuck-For-45-Minutes Mainey ARRIVED. =____= So we rushed back with a Slurpee and watched her open the box! XDD Kazumi turned out really smiley and cute [and is currently fitting into the family well, and owning a Techdeck skateboard XD] and his eyes were beautiful. XDDD I took many photos of him! XD I was so happy for Mainey, Djinn as well, and we were teaching Mainey and TashiTashi SD dynamics and holding and all that. XDD Remember, lessons require money!!

After a while, Candy asked - "Why aren't the new babies out with the new boy?" and well - wham-bang, the cat was out of the bag XDDD and out came the MSDs and Mainey telling me how MEAN I was. XD:;;;; What?!

Lots of photos ensued, titty boom. XDDD

Which brings me to the topic of photos -

Sanada Mikado

Stoic, serious, and wishywashy. XDDD

Yanagi Mikoto

Neutral. XDDD

Both of them! <3<3 )

Mae: Go on! Say it! "I call you, Mini-me!!"
Seishurou: =___= Get this poofy wig off me and let me GO.
Tsukisou: ...
Sanada: *thinking* who's this man? is Mae trying to say I look like him? I don't want to look like him. I don't like him. I - ::worries::
Yanagi: ...

...You can see Papa on the far left, Mama on the far right. XDDDDDDD

Tsuki's gonna be their surrogate mother. HAHA

I got to take a proper family picture with Ruka, too. XDD I love these little boys, it's such a joy to bring them out. We just got geta for them which fit, too. XD ::happiness!:: tangled web has been updated with their new profiles [so odd to have 5 banners in profile] and a photoshoot of the MSD boys, plus Mainey's cute Kazumi and Hide/Kim-san's pretty "Sasha boy" En as well as photos of TashiTashi's Suzume in her new Miyavi dressie thing. XDD

Coming at you soon will probably the be the BJD crossover of the centuary - ::laugh:: Mistula meets tangled! After that will come the MSD photostories. XDD

I'll be busy the next few days working on my Chitose patterns. I finished Edward Elric arm in less than a week. Let's hope I can repeat the same feat again. XD:;;;

Loki-san - Hello Loki-san! XDD Thank you for commenting on my previous post - I didn't know you had an LJ! XDDD;;; Nor that you'd seen Tangled Web OR my LJ! XDDD I love the way Kitori and Aiden fit together, and the story concerning Manx. XDDD
