The gits managed to stand [and stay still, though that's not too hard for them] for an estimated two hours, which is pretty impressive - particularly since the superghetto set-up was threatening to fall onto them and I think I ran them through 5 points of exposure, 6 white balance settings and three cont/sharp/sat settings [I guess that's why it took two hours, ahahaha].

Anyway, Yanagi's head is appley and edible-like.

Obviously I can never leave a good thing alone [wait for full effect].

Many of the conversations that my braindead self and several others had often culminated in this question. This particular conversation sums it up quite completely: a concerned "So what time did you sleep last night?", an extremely sheepish bleary-eyed smile, and "Oh, I see; not at all. Gotcha."
Again, I'm really terribly sorry if I said anything bizarre or confusing to you. My sleep hiatus can basically be summarised in a resort holiday description: 3D2N.

I guess it really could have been worse. It went much better than it could've, considering that we managed out four technically five-piece OOAK outfits in completion for the event – so it makes sense that we would be totally late and uh only finish totally setting up at around 3 or so, about 1½ hours after event starting time. There's nothing much I can really say about this other than: oops, classic Tangled…

So this year, as displayed on the TDA site, was going to be revolving around the Crane Wife legend as butchered by Colin Meloy [I love the man I'm serious]. This only came about on the second-last day before registration as our collab partner unsuccessfully tried to wager herself out of her good friend's wedding [by the way don't identify yourself here, talk to me laytah and I hope that wedding went well]. [info]silencestation and I were standing in the MRT and debating. Bathoom, Crane Wife was born.

Our set-up, the graphic poorly pieced together because I was evidently too stupid to actually just step a few steps away and you know, zoom out. But anyway, you get the gist. Crane Wife display mournfully labouring away. Outside, kids play – with the exception of Sana shoveling snow. You're a good man, Charlie Brown.

Crane Wiiiife. )

And the OOAK outfits for sale. All of the faux-kimono sets had:
1. Inner Gown/Dress
2. Kimono Coat
3. Obi [/+ obijime and obiage for girls]
4. Neck-tie
5. Headpiece

Faux-Kimono Sets )

And where's Sei again? Oh right:

Sei can be quite funny. )

My only complaint was the terrifyingly late booth map and information for the vendors. I was seriously worried there that I didn't get it or something, and with the light-intensive setup it was a big worry. Thank you for accommodating our request! Hopefully next year the information will come out earlier and that'll be fine. :D

We've got people to thank of course:

Because I'm longwinded. )
and personally, to [info]silencestation, thanks for everything of course. I'm glad I could do the headbands to your satisfaction.

All in all, zomg one week to school. Damn.

My agony and misery finally culminated on the 29th, last Saturday, as we rushed to The Doll Affair and reached 15 minutes before the event opened due to a *$#@ing traffic jam. "Do you think we can set up in 15 minutes?" Djinn mused. "I think so." I said, with much misguided positivity. Well, we sort of did – if Petr would just touch Sei's hand instead of drawing it away in reluctance, if Si Ye would stop falling back and be a little less gay, if Ren would just settle into suwarikko. Amongst the terror of setting up in 15 minutes, my delightful cosplay buddies [info]raydance and [info]ivoryfox were deviously and annoyingly prodding me about the time, while [info]night_child80 was gleefully announcing the number of seconds we had. Thanks a lot, guys.

Aaaaargh and long elaboration. )

The stuff for sale in the event, therefore, was :
1. Actual Clothes [SD, SD13 Boy, YoSD] x3
2. Chokers [SD] x5
3. Postcards [Sei x15, Petr x15]

Here's how our booth – weenier than we imagined initially, which made Djinn panic the night before as she marked out the space on the floor – looked like, excluding the little corner selling postcards and jewelry :

On the left, [unfortunately you can't see more of the moon, the snowy night, Giselle's grave, mound, rose petals and that amazing Spanish moss] the display setup inspired by the second act of Giselle. Petr is our prima ballerina Giselle, the engaged-girl-turned-wili [lady spirits who were supposed to be wedded – oops.]. Seishurou, the guilty prince pretend-pauper Albrecht coming to visit Giselle's grave and condemned to dance to his death by the wilis, and Tsukisou, who is the angry Queen of wilis who really, really wants Albrecht to die. I know it looks more like Tsuki is rly jealous, but shhh and try to imagine, okay? XD;;;

For those who know the story of Giselle and their visuals, you'll realize that Tsuki's outfit, unlike Sei's nancy tights and Petr's expansive skirt, is not similar to the actual Queen outfit. This is because ours is ah, a reintepretation of the Wili scene. We felt that for our visuals, a parallel dynamic would work better for the Queen and Giselle. Our queen is thus based off a darker colour palette, but like Giselle has some flowing torn fabrics and a long veil of the same design. That's our excuse story and we're sticking to it.

On the right, is our happy little display of the outfits for sale! That'll be detailed under the cut because I'm sure the non-doll people on my flist are sick of my lengthy elucidation.

the Giselle pre-launch outfits! )

Multitudes of Thank Yous )

There we go! Like said, thank you all very much for making our TDA lots better, and we hope we'll see you again next year. :D

But before I go – we still have some chokers and postcards for sale!

Chokers and Postcards [Sei, Petr] for sale! )

So the other day when we were out, we popped by the toy department as usual - bid a friendly "I'll buy you soon!" to Star Catcher, searched for a fully white bunny in the Sylvanian Family section, sighed over Roboraptor, ogled Tamagotchi 4.0 and subsequently [I was deathly reluctant] proceeded to the Transformers Movie toys. Then Djinn decided to be enamoured by the Real Gear Robots, and guess what? We ended up with Zoom Out 25x [we call him Zoom Out because the number is stupid] and High Score 100 [whom we call HS because 'high score' is BLOODY stupid and no respectable real high score is only 100, hello where have you been Hasbro]. Star Catcher cries in her box.

We like Zoom Out better because he reminds me more of the G1 Tranformers the way he transforms and looks like. [and he's a Decepticon.] HS isn't as cute as a bot, and when I transformed him, I just did that - transform him. When I transformed Zoom Out I could hear the little "zzzzzbht" G1 sound effect in my head while doing it. [I also like Zoom Out's cardback descript.]

One thing led to another on Djinn's table, and they mysteriously ended up in a compromising pose there. This prompted some horrendous timewasting on my part, so here's a photostory starring our first official Transformers toys [Masterpiece 'screamer, please please please be released] and uh, Seishurou. The font denotates their accents - Zoom Out [Bookman Antiqua] has that inexplicable British accent that some Transformers did, HS [Arial] the usual Autobot American and Sei, well, is Sei. Yeah.

Standard Djinn/Mae-style photostory length - i.e. 26 small images. Also, PG for Implications. )

Other than that - my brains, they are asplode with mock exams. Waah.

So it be the last day of my holiday, of which I spent doing my work and readings and a little bit of Tangled stuff [no block tests, you see]. Going back to school makes me baleful, because there's so much more constructive work I do at home as opposed to attempting not to stone out in lectures and staying awake – whereupon I completely lose my urge when the lecturer worriedly asks the rest of the people in lecture : "Am I going too fast?" ZOMG NO.

I had the joy of going out with Djinn on Friday and getting Sheva a suit, hee. I like the look! Very stylish. I'll definitely take an Armani-type photoshoot when I can. : D

Also, explaining my ::headdesk:: type of entry with Sheva's intro post – well, people will know; Djinn will know and now you will know that I'm not the type to first of all buy stuff. I don't indulge. I hardly want things. I didn't want to want Sheva. As Djinn said in a bit of a giggle about it I seemed to be sunk. And I dignifiedly got Sheva for myself with the gingham dress, except Djinn couldn't resist buying a pretty little cheongsam for her future bunny and Sheva to share.

So you'll have to suffer my photos of a stuffed lamb. I'm sorry, but you'll have to deal with it.

The very first update in the monster in which you know as Tangled Web was this :

"23rd December 2003 5.33am
The site is finally finished. X_x Not as contentfull as we would like, but it'll have to do for now..."

This means that Tangled Web is now approximately 3 years old. Approximating everything because I'm far too lazy :

1. Kinjyou Seishurou and Suiya Tsukisou are 3 years old. [Old men!] These two arrived during our Europe vacation, and the first pictures we saw of them were in a Virgin Record Store's web access area. Sei's first pictures made me cry. [Not of joy.] But when we opened their boxes, I couldn't recognise him.

2. Ruka is also 3 years old, chronologically arrived before the two old men. He was the first Sweet Dreams Lucas we saw when the limiteds arrived in Domuya and we helped to unpack, and he ended up ours despite the fact that we asked to see both of them to pick.

3. Sanada Mikado and Yanagi Mikoto are 2 years old. [Oh my god!!] Also ordered together at the same time, Sato babies, the F08 had just been released without any official pictures except for small, blurry web-camisque ones. We were also told, a little earlier that there would "Never be MSD FCS!" HAHAHAHAHAHA.

4. Lin Si Ye is 2 years old. We got him despite being late from a typhoon from Dolpa 13 by a Volks miracle.

5. Small Yanagi Ren is nearly 2 years old, the first UFK of AngelRegion. We were worried they'd never have it again. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

6. Chaitanya is 1 year old, Djinn's 21st birthday present greatly assisted by Cassiel [thank you!] and loads of lovely people who donated to the cause - our first sunlight and our first SD boy.

7. Teaberry/Wintergreen is 8 months old and was the first doll off YJA [thanks to Evildolly] we have. Djinn was pining and pining and moaning and pining and I told her, if there is a Kasumi with the 02 Wings that you want, we'll get her and lose all our money. GUESS WHAT?

8. Big Rennes Yanagi['s head - the girl you guys asked about here] is 2 months old, off a Tsukasa Konoe with a Link SD13 body and a SDKen box. A BIN matter off YJA with help from Evildolly once again. Finally, our little Ren grows up. I've been waiting for this.

The total count right now is 10 dolls, of soon which to be 9 dolls, and of soon which to be 10 dolls again. Perhaps in an interval it will be 11 dolls. And the most creepy thing, is that about half of our doll list is fulfilled. But I'm sure we can drag it out till we're 50, since the rest are a lot harder and BOY do we have a lot of stories to catch up on. Also, most of the rest are FCS, so NO MORE UNPLEASANT SURPRISES. [Like the next one.]

In any case, re: the 'not as contentfull' - HAHAHAHAHAHA STFU DJINN AND I, STFU. The current count stands at :

1. 78 photostories [not including roleplay/gathering/cosplay/travelogue photostories] up, 11 mini events.
2. 35 travelogue photostories
3. 2 'movies'
4. 59 photoshoots, 14 songshoots
5. 5 cosplays - Guilty Gear X, Prince of Tennis, Loveless, Alichino, xxxholic

36580 hits as of today, a generous estimate taking off my own visits.

What's this all about? This is me having put off doing this stat count for a couple of years, and to say that officially, yes, we will be renewing Tangled Web. To be - WHITE. and CLEAN. And NOT JAVA-SCRIPT LOGGED. and SEMI-UPDATED. Also, to acknowledge all the dolls we have, how long they've been with us [we never do the birthday thing, we always forget XD;] and that we have too many dolls to do this individually anyway. WE'RE SCREWED because we have too much stuff to do and plus the internet on the computer with all the Tangled stuff is down, so we can't even do our last update on the old layout. Gah. [HOMEWORK WHAT HOMEWORK FUCKING HISTORY ESSAY THAT THE TEACHER SAYS YOU READ THE QUESTION WRONG SUCKERS NYAH WHAT FUCKING HISTORY ESSAY.]

Also, thanks for actually caring about our dolls, what we do with them for all these years, and if it hasn't been all these years, however long you've been with us. It is constantly and adoringly appreciated, and if you haven’t already, do make yourself known to us sometime so we can thank you properly. XD

In any case, happy 3rd belated birthday, Tangled Web. And Merry Christmas and all other holidays to everyone, I hope you have lots of fun despite the fact that a lot of you seem to be a bit down this holiday season. Despite what it could’ve been, it seems this Christmas may not be so bad for us this year.

Everything is calm today.

Great joy! Good news about the sweet man I couldn't help but adore even before I settled on really adoring him :

"Chelsea Football Club is pleased to confirm that Petr Cech's condition is improving.

He is now fully conscious following the operation and the effects of the anaesthetic. He is communicating and talking with his wife Martina as well as the Chelsea and hospital medical teams who have now given permission for visitors.

Several members of the Chelsea management and team including José Mourinho and John Terry visited him this afternoon (pictured), while Carlo Cudicini was at the training ground today."

Of course, Djinn in her pessimistic manner tells me he's not completely out of the woods yet, but this is good news to all of us, especially since we were both miserable and sick due to the fluctuating haze. [Bronchitis - huh.] It was especially fortituous that they played Blues News live today on Goal TV. My heart is bursting with joy and I believe if there's anyone with the willpower and the fearlessness to continue his career despite such an injury, it's Petr Cech. Of course he'll be out for a long while, but it's good to know he's alive and hopefully fine. Even if he does decide not to play football any longer, I'm fine with that because he's alright. But that doesn't really sound like Petr, so cross fingers and hopefully his condition will improve.

On the other hand, because this great burden has been released from my heart, I have a fun picture to share!

It's one of those things again...

Not sure whether I'm forbidden to post this, but I really like the photo. XD And also, Sei looks good! You can see the new outfit I made for him there. And yes, it's one of those media things going on.

I want to take photos of Sei and Tsuki's new matching outfits soon! I haven't done themed matching outfits in a long time, this time it's themed to animals really - Tsuki's is a goldfish, Sei's is a kitty. :D You'll see better what I mean when I manage to get some decent photos.

Will be back in school tomorrow - the weekend and today were awful, what with being emotionally and physically exhausted from Open House and Petr's accident.

I must tell you about MOVIES. I committed a crime and watched She's the Man a while ago because it's a modern-day movie based off Twelfth Night by Shakespeare, of course. We were looking bemusedly up in HMV and wondering why in the world it was so obvious the man character was a girl crossdressing until they said "Viola" - somehow, I didn't notice, but Djinn went "OMGBBQTWELFTHNIGHT."

a little review about the Shakespearean chick flick )

In any case, for those who've read/studied Twelfth Night and are not deathly afraid of watching chick flicks, go have a look at She's the Man.

The other movie we rented that Djinn needed to watch for her Cold War module is Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. Totally blew me away. I adore it in its full black and white, black comedy glory, with Peter Sellers doing three completely different characters convincingly in it. It's fantastic. It's incredible. I love picking up all the Cold War satires and the comic timing is so impeccable I never know whether to really laugh or cry at moments. Anyone familiar with the Cold War definitely needs to watch Dr Strangelove.

Stayed up to record the PSV Eindhoven vs Liverpool match, and it was just painful. I'm not sure why I actually watch Livvy anymore. I mean, I still adore them, but I only ever seem to remember watching losing/unexciting and frustrating matches - perhaps the kind of football that I'd rather cover my eyes and peep out between my fingers.

I only watched a bit of the replay of the Chelsea vs Werder Bremen game because I had to go to sleep, and we all know that resulted in 2-0, which distressed me greatly because I do support Werder and it's the first time I get to see them on telly. Instead, the first sight I see of Werder Bremen [past Tim Boroski, that is] is the first Chelsea goal, whereupon the Werder defense slipped and the ball goes past the substitute WB keeper. Not a great first vision, or anything. I hope Werder win the rest of the matches. ::groan:: On the other hand, at least Petr kept a clean sheet.

You're going to hate me soon, because I'm going to be menace these few days. I'll try to shake the urge to hop onto LJ and talk about footy everytime there's a match, I swear. XD; But you're likely not to be able to avoid it tonight. That's why I'm going to post the super-overdue photos that I did when i first got Koi.

[Just FYI, DOOM I and DOOM II were taken on Koi.]

I swear that when I picked up Koi, slid in the lens and pulled him up to snap - it was heaven. I'd struggled with a Fujifilm for quite a while whereupon I was forced to be perfectly still [this is where my habit of not breathing for the entire duration of taking a photo] made my experience with the Ixus much better - but there is something about a big camera of course, and something awesome that I could change the focus point and focus on the FACE, NOT THE HAIR. I wanted a new camera for the colours and the more precise focus, and I got it. And it didn't actually take me long to figure out, because thanks to AVA Club, I was more familiar with SLRs and DSLRs than I thought. I know what's apeture and I know what's ISO speed - I think that's decent for someone already. XDDD I thankfully also have steady hands due to years of training, having to run around with big SLRs from Sec 1. It all worked out. It all paid off. I like to think I've made great leaps in my photography and it's fantastic to switch to a smooth machine which lets you do what you want to do.

Enough of the romantic exposition, I hate the fact I need long paragraphs to express what the hell I'm feeling when Djinn does it in concise, witty sentences. Here are a truckload of photos. Please click each one for a larger version. They're not as nice if they're not huge. XD;

Warning : These photos totally reek of N00B WITH NEW CAMERA. XD;;

You're probably going to see a lot more photos of Azri, because he's not averse to Koi. He hates the Ixus, but he's perfectly fine with me adjusting a huge lens and shoving it in his face. Who can understand cats?

+1 of Azri )

This is the man my LJ was originally named after, technically my first boy, and someone we call Fat Man. This camera is a godsend because he looks GOOD TAKEN WITH IT.

+1 of Tsukisou, +2 of Si Ye )

This was sort of a follow-up on the DOOM photos. Reconstruction? XD

+3 more; this is as urban as Singapore gets. )

Okay, I really, really like these. XD I love Nyanko [these cats which dress up as food] and I took these in a Japanese restaurant.

Gragh, I'm so pissed off all the time, since there's so much I have to do, and want to do, but I can't. I primarily blame school. I was in a general easily-offended mood today and it just so happened I ran into a lot of deliberately antagonistic people, whom I impatiently and angrily cussed at - from a list of a young idiot deciding to handily rest his ass on the floor of the MRT [Singaporean version of the Tube], a woman who was wrestling to the entrance even though Djinn told her a multitude of times that we were getting off at the same stop anyway - you get the general drift. Today just wasn't our day. [In fact, if you saw this 151.5 cm girl with a sweet denim shirt with flower embroidery yelling "F*** YOU" at people, er, that's me.]

But at least we got updates done! Yeap, it's difficult to believe but we're updated Tangled Web but we're attempting to gear for a FIFA World Cup arc....

Seishurou and Si Ye at Universal Studios, LA.

Yeap, the LA bit of the LA/Vegas trip, where we do quick budget tour of Hollywood and Universal Studios. XD; We also went to purportedly downtown LA, where we didn't bring the boys, but I took quite a few photos, and we had a few observations of the US of A - I'll cover that in the post after next.

I also updated Your Brains Here, after such a long time! And concluded the Censorship Arc, do check it out, I worked really hard on the last strip, just got it out today quickly after 'inking' it. I know I take forever with YBH, but I hope you like it anyway. T_T

On the other hand, I've been contemplating my cosplays for the next - okay, next two years. Who wants to take bets on whether I'll adhere to it? I think I'm going to boycott Cosfest this year, due to SCC being itself, and not going to Streetfest because I have no time. So that pretty much screws any attending of events this mid-year, which might be a good thing because every event comprises of :

1. Staying up the entire night before rushing stuff.
2. Making it to the event later because I can't finish.
3a. I'm still rushing stuff at the event, likely. OR
3b. The event ends in half an hour.

So - well, I can settle for a photoshoot or so.

Probable Cosplay lineup for 2006 - 2008 )

And actually, Far Cry [[info]techn0ir] will be visiting us next year, and naturally, since she's a tall, pretty yet suave lady and I'm a tiny, cuddly [synonym for fat] er, thing, it's all too natural that we've worked out a mile-long list of couple/pair cosplays for her short visit in June. XD; But hopefully we'll be making it to Streetfest together, our likely cosplay list so far here :

Okay, so no one owns up to the paid account thing? Well, if you don't want to receive my undying gratitude I guess I can't do anything about it! >|

In any case, in line with my post-every-day-of-the-weekend theme this year [well, it just so happens it's the only time I'm seriously desperate to do something else other than my homework and can do something else other than sleep], I'm updating again, but with something kinda substantial this time!

First of all - I cut my hair. I haven't for a while, due to real lack of time [yes, I lack a life, I do realise that] and so after a bit of musing and looking at my hair at the length it had grown to, I thought to myself, Maybe I should try another style. So after a bit of rummaging, I decided on an emokid! hairstyle.

Specimen 1 : My old hairstyle. )

The actual purpose of showing my old hairstyle is so that you don't go 'eh, I don't see a diff' with the new photo. XD;;;

Specimen 2 : My new emokid!hairstyle )

And well, yes. That's about it for my hair. I actually like it, and I'm wondering how emo-ish glasses might look with this, since I'm likely to replace my current pair sometime soon. I'm sure Djinn [who is currently freaking out since she just chopped a bit of her hair off at the same salon] will keep me on the straight and indie path [as opposed to overly emo]. I do feel a bit feminine, the other one was more masculine, but it's not really THAT feminine. I hope. [Hairdressers, must you overgeneralize and think that everyone wants to look feminine? I had such an awful time convincing any one of them that yes, I do want it that short.]

Also, it's a Tangled update! Yes, the idiotic flash trailer was finally solved - Djinn did a lot including the load bar, the replay stuff and the play stuff which I had no fooking idea how to do, and then after all that I resynced the frames to the preview version of the flash movie. So here we go, click to see the kinda cool trailer :

Obviously we thought too much about this.

So please do click or visit Tangled for the Las Vegas half of our America trip with Seishurou and Si Ye.

And that's the end of my picture spam for the week or so! [if you're lucky.]

I am only writing in LJ because I am not going to school tomorrow, and that relaxes my study timetable a bit. After feeling sick for two or so days with a sore throat I hopped to the doctor tonight, and he tells me it's a virus that is either going to get better or worse in two days, so if it gets worse, check back with him. Odd, but effective in the sense I get my MC for school tomorrow. That means I can actually have a semblance of a life for a night and actually sleep, hopefully to feel miraculously better tomorrow!

So since I haven't updated in a long, long time, this post is going to be quite full.

Happy [is it belated?] Birthday, Judy! From all of us at Tangled - from Seishurou to Si Ye, and Djinn and I! The quote is from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, from Orsino, the over-indulgent count who is more in love with the idea of being in love than the person he is in love with! The accompanying line is actually "Away with me to sweet beds of flowers!" then "Love thoughts lie rich when canopied with bowers". Quoting Twelfth Night is pathetic, but er, at least you can see I've been studying. XD; I spouted that quote in laughter while snapping away at Sei.

Also, for a moment of time due to some strange reason or another, all our dolls ended up sitting around outside on a table in our bedroom. When [info]averseofmelody and [info]ivoryfox were going to come over, we decided to take them out and put them in the glass cabinet outside. I know it seems rather sad, but it's really handy to have them in the case when the house is so small and we're not going to do much with them for a bit. Like Domuya's displays, or something.

Besides, I try to pose them in nice ways so that they look natural and nice to look at at the same time.

Sei and Tsuki are on black fur, Si Ye and Ruka are on white, very very luxurious fox faux fur. Please ignore the idiot in the Kogepan nightdress, the back of the cabinet is mirror.

Closeups of each shelf... )

On the other hand, I recently found out that apparently there was a great deal of debate on my winning of the school's cosplay contest - you know, the one when I just dumped on my Ritsuka costume? I was so surprised, I was wondering why, especially since I was so disraught over Si Ye at that time, and the award caught me by surprise, hardly pacifying me in its crushed butter cookie glory.

Nevertheless, I did go to ask a junior [my juniors were the one mainly having the debate] about what it was. She didn't know the details, but it was something about cosplay ethics and about how I shouldn't have reworn the costume, and that they only knew about the so-called 'contest 10 days before.

I was utterly shocked. And so I replied, like this, which just describes everything I thought about the issue. )

I've also updated [info]yourbrains after a long time of non-activity, due to my prelims, 'course. Thanks all for your lovely comments on YBH, I'm really glad you find it funny. You can't imagine.

I WAS going to put something exciting, which was actually a music meme with mp3s!!!!1111 but Djinn is sloooow and I wanted to post it at the same time. =___= So that means that you'll have to wait for it, it will be posted in a seperate entry for your listening pleasure. As it is, I guess this post is only for your viewing pleasure.

There were so many people at the doll gathering today, the place was packed. The amount of Singaporean doll owners have multiplied, either that, or they have a LOT of friends.
We were there for five mintues, the sad two gits sitting in the corner with six darned dolls.
Sei and Tsuki make it onto the table for about 5 seconds, and then it's time to pack up.

The time we were there was horribly ridiculous. XD; We might as well have not shown up.
But I got to see Judy! And Evildolly again, and Evildolly's lovely Hope and Michael. And you, the Tashigi bunch. ::laugh:: And one of the new DoDs~
And of course, to pass Mainey her darn birthday presents - my part of it which tortured me and agonised me.

Djinn and I were like we on weed today, it was awful, we were horribly stone.

And the poor boys just got dragged there to be packed back in, I didn't see much of any dolls at all. So the photo collection today is quite miserable. XD;; Nevertheless, it provides for a nice, quick update of Tangled.

Also, it was an update we didn't announce since we didn't want to spoil those going to the gathering, but since Sei was practically unseen today, I really should've. XD; Djinn recently - and finally - refaced-up Sei, making him look nearly the same, but much better. I really enjoy Sei now, and he even got a new coat out of it, despite how much I want sewing to go and die right now. He also got a whole new photoshoot to himself, which gave me 30 over mosquito bites, but I interestingly don't regret it.

Seishurou, finally all clean and nice-looking. I really like the way he looks like, I love it, really. I think Djinn did a very nice job on one of our most important dolls.

More photos of fantastically clean and good-looking Seishurou on tangled web. Djinn is updating Tangled right now with today's little photos, but Seishurou looks fantastic in Evildolly's photos. Proud of Sei! The world must be ending.

I realised today that I really really like seeing Sei and Tsuki together. Tsuki seems a little happier in his pictures with Sei, and they really are important to me, muchly. I love looking at them, and Djinn aptly describes that it is so much so I don't really have to take many photos of them to enjoy them like I do, but we WILL take photos and make photostories, of course. XD

Tsuki's new kimono really stressed me out today, but it didn't seem to matter anyhow. I hope those who got to see our dolls enjoyed them, and appreciated the fact we brought nearly everyone today! This is probably the ONLY time you're going to see the dolls, we probably won't be able to make for a few gatherings and events. It's also painfully stressful to sew - especially since everyone around us is happily commissioning people. Gosh, I wish I could. Djinn does too, but we have a severe lack of Money and making clothes is what I'm here for.

You guys can see us at the end of the year. XDD I don't know how many gatherings I can take! The EoY costumes should be quite enjoyable, anyhow. For you to see, not for me to sew, that is.

Very Tired and Stone. Hope you like your presents, Mainey, and happy birthday. And all of you, hope you like Sei's new faceup as much as I do, because you'll see a lot more of him now. Go check Tangled Web for more fun updates.

Also, Coldplay's new album is lovely. I really like it, it's technically really good and a lot of the songs sound so brilliant, it makes me want to cry. I found out today while listening to their old album that The Scientist still makes me cry.

Also, I won't do the music meme yet, but I WILL do the fandom meme.

1)Total number of fandoms I like:
Too many.

2)My first fandom ever:
Power Rangers. What embarrassment. What pain. I still like PR slash. Help me.

3)My most recent fandom:
Ultimate Fantastic Four. I feel so much more embarrassment.

4)Five fandoms that currently mean a lot to me:
--1) Static Shock, the cartoon.
--2) Former Justice League International; Booster and Beetle!
--3) Ultimate Fantastic Four
--4) Teen Titans, the comic.
--5) Loveless for the lesbian catgirls.

5) Tag five people:
Whoever feels like doing it, because I nearly felt like bashing Mainey in the head for tagging me. XDD

And the other thing that TWO people tagged me for - ::whaps Ivory AND Mainey::

Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.

Interestingly, I NEVER try to lower my stress. What I do, do though -

1. Listen to alt-rock depressive songs, like Deathcab or Placebo or Coldplay or anything that sounds indie enough.
2. Take song-theme photos of the boys - mostly Tsuki - to the alt-rock depressive song.
3. Draw upset and angry pictures, but this mostly fails now, I've lost my touch. An example is my LJ layout pic.
4. Fall asleep.
5. Terrorise the cat.
6. Do something hobby-constructive, like websites, or cging, or icon-making, etc.
7. Read my favourite bits of comics over and over again.

Again, tagging anyone who wants to do this.

Done, over and out.

I think my exams are going okay at the moment. Then again, it's only been three subjects. Uh. I've been bringing the Fullmetal Alchemist State Alchemist watch as a good luck charm for goodness knows why [other than the fact Djinn did a beautiful job and I should totally pimp it around the place XDDD] until I realised I have a legitimate reason, somethng to the likes of taking exams to keep my State Alchemist watch. So much for the legitimate reason.

I've also been rather romantically inclined and been using a slim gold pen which belonged to my mother, though according to Djinn she never used it. How do we know it's hers? It has her name engraved on it. XD

Also, OMGGG Yesterday [info]zephyus added me to her MSN and I totally spazzed out. XDDDDD Proceeded to freak her out by citing who I remember her cosplaying at the big events. XDDD She was very nice and friendly and I'm feeling the pressure pile on next year because she loves both Watanuki and Tsugiri.....XD;;;;;;

[She also asked me if I wanted to join the PR side of STAC. THAT I freaked out about. XD;;;]

Also, hey. tangled is hitting an all-time low of below 20 hits per day. What are you doing?! XDDDDD
I should really be thankful, actually. XD;; I don't want the 1000th hit to come too soon, I'll have to make Tsukisou's wedding dress then. ::dies::

Actually, what I'm here for is to update you all on tangled web updates! yeeeey.

cleverly concealing primal urges often felt but rarely seen

As you can see, he's my new icon! XDDD Sei fangirls scream! ::looks expectantly at Mainey:: I was feeling guilty about him not having any photoshoots, so there was interesting lighting yesterday. I missed it. =_=;;; So out came the fluorescent tube. There're very little shots, because the camera died halfway with a lens cover problem, then a zoom error. I guess this means you guys can't expect any new photos after this. ::sigh:: Well, 'least it's my exams.

And of course, there're MORE photos. :D

Tsukisou Photoshoot, Ruka Photoshoot, Ruka cosplaying Yanagi from Tennis no Oujisama Photoshoot )

Hmm....yeah, that's all. XD I also just want to tell [info]vayufox, that email to Seishurou from Sydney was very cute, but the one to Tsukisou is just.......::dies laughing::

I'm done spamming you with Superdollfie, which is a lot better than my ugly mug! ::beams:: Wish me luck now, for tomorrow is my chinese exams. XD;;;

Big update at Tangled - it was coming XD

First of all -

What happened?! What happens next?! Find out at Tangled Web!

We made Tsuki a new outfit for the small meet with Mainey, Evildolly-san and Shan - Sei had fun talking to Grace. >D

More images under the cut )

Djinn and I have also been bringing the Pinky Street girls out. XD They're a lot easier than SDs and are a joy to photograph. Somehow they fit so well on the streets and outside.

Djinn took this - me and the Pinky standing around the place after we filmed a shoujo yuri drama. XDDDD

More of the Pinky in the Natural Habitat, I love these. )

Also - copied and pasted from Shan:

Mini Dollmeet at Shan's House
Time: 2.30pm onwards
Not sure when it will end, please phone to check if you plan on coming later, to see if anyone is still around. =D
Location: Please reply below if you are coming, and I will PM you my address and phone number. It is fairly near to Djinn's home (if you've been there).

Please note that only people who
1) have replied to confirm OR
2) are vouched for by someone who has replied
will be allowed in for security reasons. =) Shouldn't be a problem, since everyone seems to know everyone in Singapore. XD;;

Confirmed attendance so far includes:
Evildolly (owner of Grace and Faith)
Djinn and Mae (owners of Seishurou, Tsukisou, and Ruka)
Fox/Deathpoem (owner of SYDNEY! XD) and friend
and of course, myself and Shiina ^_^

Mainey, you're going right? ^^

I need to go make Ruka's obscene outfit for Saturday and to study my chinese. XD Hope you all enjoy the updates in Tangled and otherwise. I want to know what you think of the angsty photostory! XDDD
